Dominic Hui

Dominic co-founded Aerosep Consultants Limited in 2006. He has had over 25 years of airlines experience. He started his career in Structures and Interiors, Technical Services in Cathay Pacific Airways (Hong Kong). He began his adventures in Safety Training in 1989. He conducted Safety and Emergency Procedures (SEP) training for flight deck and cabin crew, as well as security training which included restraining and hand-cuffing techniques. He recruited and mentored new instructors. He conducted the very first combined Crew Resources Management (CRM) course for aircrew in 1992; he was one of the pioneers in the development of CRM in Cathay Pacific Airways.

He also prepared and revised course lesson plans, syllabi and SEP Manual. He designed the initial framework; co-developed and monitored computer-based examination and training. He investigated safety-related incidents to ensure the relevant policies and procedures were performed to the company standard.

Dominic joined Hong Kong Express Airways Ltd (HKE) in 2005. He set up HKE SEP training on Embraer ERJ170 aircraft as required by the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (HK CAD) and IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) standard.

He had co-developed the training package of cabin crew customer services; modules include Delivering Quality Customer Service, Pre-Flight & Post-Flight Briefing, Duties & Responsibilities, Meal Service Flow, Grooming & Uniform Guide, Service Recovery & Contingency. He conducted cabin services training, and responsible for cabin crew line operation and inspections.

He had represented HKE on the proving flight on 27th JUL 2005 en-routing Clark, the Philippines; He had facilitated the inspection conducted by HK CAD and obtained the Air Operator Certificate.
